Package Details

After purchasing the “Do-It-Yourself” Squarespace 7.1 website package, you will receive a link to the template. To access your template, you must provide a valid email address associated with an active Squarespace account. We will never ask for your login credentials before, during, or after installation.

The template will be added as a new website in your Squarespace account, not to an existing website.If you have an active website on Squarespace, we recommend manually transferring your content to the new site.

We aim to install your template within 48 hours (Monday to Friday.) However, this timeframe may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. If it has been over 48 hours, please contact us at hello@theleapstudio.com. Note that delays may occur over weekends and holidays.

We will recreate the demo template exactly as shown in the demo/photos. It is your responsibility to add your content and branding.

Once the template is added to your account, it becomes your responsibility. If you accidentally alter your template and need it resent, you will have to repurchase it.

The template will be added to your account on a free trial. If the trial expires, Squarespace will mark your website for deletion. To avoid this, request a trial extension from Squarespace support or upgrade to a paid plan.

We are not responsible for:

• Customization of any sort

• Anything unrelated to the template

• Revisions or refinements

• Adding your content

• SEO

• Squarespace tutorials

• Social media connection

• Migration of any kind (content, domains, etc.)

• Domain connection

• Integrations of any sort

Our Squarespace templates are designed for the Squarespace Business Plan (or as otherwise specified on the template information page). You are responsible for all costs related to your Squarespace account, including the domain, hosting, plans, and email accounts.

You must start a Squarespace subscription to set your website live. New Squarespace subscribers will receive 20% off their subscription.

Support Details

Your template includes a 14-day support period. We offer support via email (hello@theleapstudio.com) and we aim to respond within 48 hours (Monday to Friday.)

During this time, we are happy to assist you with: 

• Issues relating to the template itself

• Installation of the template

• Downloading and accessing the provided files

• Resolving any problems arising from the above

Assisting with general Squarespace questions, template modifications, coding modifications, or issues arising from them will be at our discretion. We are not obligated to help with these requests: 

• Connecting a domain

• Connecting social media accounts

• Adding content to the template

• Creating new pages or elements

• Modifying CSS, HTML, or JavaScript to your specifications

• General Squarespace inquiries

• Third-party plugins

• Squarespace platform issues

• Issues caused by customization or modification

• Customizations or modifications beyond the original template

• Providing/creating strategies for SEO, marketing, etc.

By purchasing the “Do-It-Yourself” package, you acknowledge the template intended for DIY customization. Therefore, basic computer, Squarespace, and internet skills are required.

Template License

Templates come with a one-time use license, meaning they can only be used once per personal/commercial project. Multiple templates must be purchased for multiple installations. 

You may not resell or claim the design as your own. You may not share the template design, materials, files, custom code, or any other design elements with anyone else.

Refunds, Returns and Exchanges

Due to the digital nature of our products, they cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged. Before purchasing, please review the template demos, features, FAQs, and requirements. If you have any questions, please contact us at hello@theleapstudio.com before completing your purchase.

Content Rights

The Leap Studio owns the rights to all designs and files (excluding any photography and third-party plugins or code) included in your website media purchase and design.

Your completed design may be used on our website or social media for demonstration and promotion purposes.

Any photography, icons, or other imagery provided with the template is for demonstration purposes only and is copyrighted to its original creator. You must replace these images with your own. We hold no liability for any image licensing or copyright issues that may occur.

All fonts included in your template are free to use with a Squarespace subscription. We do not take responsibility for fonts no longer available through the platform.

Plugins and Code

While our templates are designed to be edited using the style settings and native platform features, some templates include small amounts of custom code to enhance the design and functionality.

You do not need to know how to code to use the templates. If you need to edit small parts of the code, instructions will be provided.

During the 14-day support period, we will address any bugs found within the plugin or code. If we cannot fix the bug, we may choose to refund the template. No damages or costs will be paid.

Browser technology and web applications change over time. We cannot guarantee that embedded third-party plugins or custom code will continue to operate as intended after our service concludes.

We cannot guarantee compatibility of our code or plugins with any other code, plugins, customizations, or integrations added to your site in the future.

We cannot guarantee compatibility of our plugins or code with future revisions, updates, or versions of Squarespace or other third-party services.

Under such circumstances, we are under no obligation to update your plugins or inform you. We take no responsibility for damages or issues caused to any website.

Disclaimer

In no event shall The Leap Studio be liable for any damages (including loss of data or profit, or business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the website template or any other aspect of our service.

After purchasing the “Perfect Launch” Squarespace 7.1 website package, we will be in touch within 48 hours (Monday to Friday) to discuss your website and choice of custom page.

Your custom webpage

Your custom page will be built within 5 working days of receiving the necessary information. Please note that these time frames may vary due to unforeseen circumstances, including weekends and holidays. If there is a specific date that you require your template for, please reach out to discuss it prior to purchasing.

Please note that if the custom page requested is a shop, blog or event page, this does not include the addition of individual content (such as blog posts, products, etc.) for that page. 

Complex requests such as coded features or integrations are at our discretion. If you have something in mind, please reach out to us prior to purchase to discuss. 

Unless agreed upon otherwise, the custom page will match the style of the rest of the template.

You will receive one round of feedback on the custom page.

Website refinement

Once you have added all your content to the template, including photos, copy, and branding, we will request Administrator Permissions to your website for review. You can specify your preferred review date either at the time of purchase or afterward. It is essential to schedule a feedback session with us within six months of your purchase. Failure to do so may result in the service not being completed, and no refund will be offered.

We will review your website and provide actionable feedback, which may include suggestions to enhance the overall flow, copy, photos, layout, SEO, and links. This feedback will be delivered to you in either written or video form. It is your responsibility to implement these suggestions on your website.

Additionally, we will make minor adjustments to your site, such as fine-tuning layouts and spacing, to ensure a professional finish.

Package Details

After purchasing the “Done-For-You” Squarespace 7.1 website package, we will be in touch within 48 hours (Monday to Friday) to discuss your website, provide you with the design questionnaire, and collect your website content.

Before starting your website, we require you to complete the design questionnaire and supply us with all of your website content. This includes your branding, images, copy, logo files, font files, and any other assets you would like on your site.

While your content does not need to exactly match the existing template content, it should be compatible with the existing layout. Although we can make necessary adjustments to layouts and sections, the template serves as the framework for your final design.

Once you have provided us with your completed questionnaire and content, we will provide you with a project timeline. We aim for all sites to be completed within 2-4 weeks, pending your availability to feedback on the project, however are happy to work with you to meet certain deadlines whenever possible. 

Please note that these time frames may vary due to unforeseen circumstances, including weekends and holidays. If there is a specific date that you require your template for, please reach out to discuss it prior to purchasing.

Template customizations

Your chosen template will be used as the base design for your website and this is not a ground-up custom development. While we can create a polished, high-end look, there are some limitations to the level of customization we can offer.

Complex site requests such as coded features or integrations are at our discretion. If you have any questions, please reach out before purchase to discuss what is possible.

As part of your package, we are responsible for: 

• Integrating your branding and content

• Creating 2 custom pages of your choice

• Customizing the template layouts to fit your content

• Incorporation of CSS to elevate the design or functionality of your site

• Basic Squarespace SEO

• Up to 5 added blog posts, products or events

• Integration of social accounts

• Copywriting

You will receive two rounds of feedback on the website. You must agree to review the product and be reasonably available if we have any questions and to provide timely feedback and decisions.

We are not responsible for any delays in the project due to your failure to provide timely feedback or adhere to the agreed timeline. Any further revisions beyond the initial feedback session will be subject to additional fees.

Your package includes three hours of retainer support that can be used over three months. This period begins the day you receive the link to your website. We offer support via email (hello@theleapstudio.com) and we aim to respond to your request within 48 hours (Monday to Friday.)

During this time, you may use this support for requests such as:

• General Squarespace questions

• Connecting your social media accounts

• Adding, removing or editing text, links or images

• Uploading a pre-written blog post

• Uploading products

• Changing or editing your menu

• Ensuring your site displays correctly on mobile if you’ve made edits to a section on desktop

Outside the scope for edits/support include: 

• Adding non-blog pages

• Support for non-Squarespace products and accounts

• Modifying or adding CSS, HTML, or JavaScript to your specifications

• Writing blog posts

• Sourcing images

• Providing/creating strategies for SEO, marketing, etc.

All requests are completed at our discretion. Any requests that fall outside the scope for support may be possible but will be quoted/charged separately.

Payment

A 10% deposit is required to reserve your spot on our calendar. The remaining balance will be invoiced to you and due within two weeks after the completion of your project.

Ownership of your website will not be transferred to you until full payment has been received. We reserve the right to charge interest on any unpaid amount from the due date until payment is received at a rate of 5.0% per month on the outstanding balance.
